BUZZ- U.S. IPOs: Fireworks heading into Independence Day

** Russell 2000 and Nasdaq indexes set record highs and solid aftermarket performances by some recent new listings stoke deal flurry

** With 13 IPOs in this week's queue and two others scheduled before month-end, June easily busiest month YTD and likely to account for about a quarter of 2015's total deal tally

** Including 14 debuts already MTD, 85 companies have gone public in 2015, 37 pct fewer than last year's 135 at this point last year, according to IPREO

** Univar Inc ($770 mln, 75% upsize) and Fitbit Inc ($732 mln, 64% upsize) year's third and fourth largest, respectively, among seven IPOs which raised $2.6 bln

** Shares of Fitbit, which have doubled, revive memories of last June's GoPro debut; consumer wearable co's $4 bln valuation at IPO attracts both small and mid cap investors

** Alongside last week's IPOs, 13 follow-ons ($3 bln) and three convertibles ($1.35 bln) priced, approaching $7 bln in transaction value

** Energy/power most prominent sector as six co's raise combined $1.7 bln

** Notable solar energy yieldco raises included SunEdison Inc affiliate TerraForm Power Inc's $599 mln follow-on and 8Point3 Energy Partners LP's $420 mln IPO, which slipped below offer price

** Looking ahead, IPOs could raise another $2.6 bln as credit reporting co TransUnion Holding Company, ($650 mln), plastic engineering co Milacron Holdings Corp ($314 mln), and medical device-maker Glaukos Corp ($75 mln) vie for investor focus

** Potential tech IPO resurgence seen as four companies are on road marketing after only 11 deals YTD from the sector
