WASHINGTON May 8 (Reuters) - The Group of Seven finance ministers will closely examine the effects of Japan's recent aggressive monetary policy action to spur domestic demand at their upcoming meeting in Britain, a senior U.S. Treasury official said on Wednesday.

"We're closely monitoring the extent to which recent actions are providing support to domestic demand, and look forward to further definition of the government's plans to push ahead ambitious structural reforms," the official told reporters.
