CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on global growth hopes

TORONTO, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Wednesday after an improvement in the World Bank's
outlook for global economic growth lifted most major sectors.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 24.02 points, or 0.18 percent, at 13,716.40
shortly after the open.
