U.S. stock index futures pointed to very slight gains at the open on Tuesday, with investors finding few reasons to buy after a rally in the previous session that took the S&P 500 index above 2,000 for the first time. Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.14 percent at 17,080, S&P 500 futures were up 0.13 percent at 1,997.5 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.21 percent at 4,072.
