Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.32 percent at 17,034, S&P 500 futures were up 0.33 percent at 1,976 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.63 percent at 4,060.75.

Softbank Corp's talks to acquire the Hollywood studio have cooled, the Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter. The talks valued the maker of hit movies such as "Shrek" and "Madagascar" at $3.4 billion, according to Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the talks (on.wsj.com/YIaXt0)
