U.S. stocks were poised for a slightly higher open on Thursday, as investors grappled with a move by the Swiss National Bank to scrap its three-year euro cap on the franc. Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were up 0.15 percent at 17,391, S&P 500 futures were up 0.12 percent at 2,010 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.04 percent at 4,147.

The second-largest U.S. bank by assets reported a 14 percent fall in quarterly profit as revenue from fixed-income trading fell.
