U.S. stocks were poised for a slightly higher open on Thursday, as investors grappled with a move by the Swiss National Bank to scrap its three-year euro cap on the franc. Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were up 0.15 percent at 17,391, S&P 500 futures were up 0.12 percent at 2,010 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.04 percent at 4,147.

** BANK OF AMERICA CORP, Wednesday close $16.04, -2.93 pct premarket

The second-largest U.S. bank by assets reported a 14 percent fall in quarterly profit as revenue from fixed-income trading fell.

** CITIGROUP INC, Wednesday close $49.05, -1.88 pct premarket

The bank, in the midst of a pullback from consumer banking in several international markets, said earnings per share fell to 6 cents in the fourth-quarter, from 82 cents last year on legal and restructuring charges.   Continued...
