All three major U.S. indexes rose to two-month highs on Friday, after an unexpected rate cut in China amplified a rally driven by strong results from Microsoft, Alphabet and Amazon. The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.60 percent at 17,594.32, the S&P 500 was up 0.80 percent at 2,069.01 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 1.96 percent at 5,016.704.
