Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were up 0.01 percent at 17,547, S&P 500 e-mini futures were down 0.04 percent at 2,065.25 and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were down 0.03 percent at 4,610.

The Canadian drugmaker's chief executive said a short-seller's allegation that the company inflated its revenue was "completely untrue," and Valeant has asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate.
