The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.22 percent at 17,832.27, the S&P 500 was up 0.14 percent at 2,089.51 and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.08 percent at 5,098.326.

** UNI-PIXEL INC, $0.725, -51.01 pct

The touchscreen sensor maker's shares were down after the company announced an offering of units late on Monday.

** XBIOTECH INC, $8.74, -34.04 pct

The drugmaker's shares were on track for a record one-day percentage drop after it said patient data compromised in phase III oncology study and that "study will have reduced statistical power to demonstrate the proposed effect"

** EVINE LIVE, $1.8, -26.83 pct

The home-shopping network posted worse-than-expected third-quarter loss, but said it expects to see fourth quarter year-over-year sales growth and return to profitability.

** XCERRA CORP, $6.0101, -14.87 pct

The semiconductor test equipment maker's shares fell after Xcerra reported lower-than-expected first-quarter revenue.

** PALO ALTO NETWORKS INC, $182.65, +6.18 pct

The cyber security company forecast current quarter sales that beat market expectations and reported higher-than-expected quarterly revenue as companies and governments spent more to protect themselves from cyber attacks.

** DOLLAR TREE INC, $74.51, +7.13 pct

Dollar Tree reported better-than-expected net sales for the third quarter, its first since acquiring Family Dollar and becoming the largest discount retailer in the United States.

** UNITED CONTINENTAL HOLDINGS INC, $56.58, -3.38 pct

** AMERICAN AIRLINES GROUP INC, $41.24, -2.51 pct

** DELTA AIR LINES INC, $47.205, -3.15 pct

** TARENA INTERNATIONAL INC, $10.88, +7.40 pct

The Chinese IT education provider's third-quarter revenue jumped 48 percent as total course enrollments grew.

** CAMPBELL SOUP CO, $51.41, +3.25 pct

The world's largest soup maker reported higher-than-expected quarterly profit and raised full-year earnings forecast, helped by cost-cuts that improved margins.

** BAOZUN INC, $8.6, +7.90 pct

The Alibaba-backed Chinese e-commerce company said on Monday third-quarter revenue rose 57.9 percent to $92.5 million, helped by higher orders and increased revenue from its new mobile-based platform Maikefeng.

** DAKTRONICS INC, $8.301, -17.65 pct

The electronic display system maker reported lower-than-expected second-quarter revenue and profit due to lower sales from its live events business, which includes integrated scoring and video display systems.

** CITI TRENDS, $20.055, -16.09 pct

The urban apparel retailer said same-store sales fell 0.5 pct in the third quarter as its revenue and earnings both missed estimates.

** AEROJET ROCKETDYNE HOLDINGS INC, $18.46, +13.60 pct

Aerojet Rocketdyne on Monday announced contracts from NASA and Boeing Co with a combined value of nearly $1.36 billion, welcome news for the company after several recent financial setbacks.

** BROCADE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS INC, $9.27, -8.13 pct

The network equipment maker provided a weak first-quarter revenue and profit outlook, citing lower router sales within its Storage-Area Network (SAN) and Internet Protocol (IP) networking businesses.

** SUNEDISON INC, $3.25, +8.33 pct

The solar company plans to sell solar power capacity worth about 400 megawatts in India for roughly $350 million, as the U.S.-based firm looks to shed assets to boost balance sheet, said two sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

** SCHNITZER STEEL INDUSTRIES INC, $15.92, +11.02 pct

Morgan Stanley raised its rating on the steelmaker's stock to "equal-weight" from "underweight" and price target to $21 from $14.

** TECH DATA, $68.51, -9.53 pct

Shares of the technology product distributor fell nearly a fifth to a three-month low after Tech Data missed third-quarter estimates due to a stronger dollar.

The Apple Inc supplier posted a fourth-quarter profit above average analyst estimate, helped by demand for smartphones and tablets.

Pinnacle Foods said it would buy natural packaged foods maker Boulder Brands for about $710 million to expand its health and wellness categories.

** SKYWORKS SOLUTIONS INC, $79.45, +2.23 pct

Chipmaker Microsemi said it would buy PMC-Sierra in a $2.5 billion deal, ending a months-long bidding war with Skyworks Solutions.
