The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.23 percent at 17,565.09, the S&P 500 was up 0.38 percent at 2,051.27 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.32 percent at 5,011.214.

Solar companies’ stocks set for the third straight day of gains after the Paris climate agreement. Renewable energy companies are expected to see big upticks in investments to develop new technologies. The solar industry also boosted by an expected extension of investment tax credits beyond 2016 and a California Public Utilities Commission proposal to continue solar customer credits for electricity they contribute to utility grid.

The aircraft equipment maker said it expects 2016 sales to rise 4-6 pct to $39.9 billion-$40.9 billion and profit to grow 6-10 percent to $6.45-$6.70 per share.

The drug developer prices 3 million shares at $47, a 3.2 percent discount to Tuesday’s $48.55 last sale.
