CANADA STOCKS-Futures little changed on Christmas eve
Dec 24 (Reuters) - Canada stock index futures were little changed on Thursday, ahead of a shortened trading session on Christmas eve.
March futures on the S&P TSX index were down 0.09 percent at 7:30 a.m. ET.
No major economic events are scheduled for the day.
Canada's main stock index ended higher on Wednesday as a fall in U.S. crude inventories boosted both oil prices and shares of energy producers.
Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were up 0.12 percent at 7:30 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were up 0.02 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were up 0.14 percent.
Canadian gaming company Amaya Inc has been ordered by a Kentucky court to pay $870 million in penalties to cover alleged losses by the state's residents who played real-money poker on PokerStars' website between 2006 and 2011. Continued...
