BUZZ-U.S. STOCKS ON THE MOVE-Pfizer, New York REIT, Archer Daniels

Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.11 percent at 18,305, S&P 500 futures were down 0.17 percent at 2,160.75 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.12 percent at 4,739.

** PROCTER & GAMBLE CO, Monday close $86.41, +0.74 pct premarket

The maker of Tide detergent and Gillette shaving products reported better-than-expected quarterly sales and profit, helped by strong demand for its baby, feminine and home care products.

** PFIZER INC, Monday close $37.31, -1.69 pct premarket

The largest U.S. drugmaker reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit, driven by sales of newer drugs and the acquisition of hospital products company Hospira.

** NEW YORK REIT INC, Monday close $9.48, +5.38 pct premarket

New York REIT and privately held JBG Companies have agreed to end an agreement to form an $8.4 billion real estate investment trust focused on New York and Washington, D.C.

** ARCHER DANIELS MIDLAND CO, Monday close $44.24, +5.38 pct premarket

The agricultural trader reported a lower-than-expected quarterly profit, hurt by poor ethanol margins and lower earnings from its agricultural services unit, which includes exporting and trading operations.

** EMERSON ELECTRIC CO, Monday close $55.78, -3.55 pct premarket

The maker of factory automation equipment said it would sell two units for a total of $5.2 billion as the company focuses on its high-growth businesses.

** TEXAS ROADHOUSE INC, Monday close $47.7, -10.38 pct premarket

The casual dining chain reported same-restaurant sales growth of 3.7 pct at company restaurants for the first 4 weeks of the third quarter, slowing from second-quarter rise of 4.5 pct.

** NAUTILUS INC, Monday close $18.44, +11.71 pct premarket

The fitness products maker reported better-than-expected profit for at least eight straight quarters.

** COGNEX CORP, Monday close $45.32, +15.84 pct premarket

The barcode reader and machine-vision sensor maker reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue and earnings, helped by consumer electronics, automotive and logistics businesses.

** INTEGRATED DEVICE TECHNOLOGY INC, Monday close $22.19, -13.29 pct premarket

The chip component maker reported quarterly profit in line with analysts’ estimates.

** AMKOR TECHNOLOGY INC, Monday close $6.45, +11.63 pct premarket

The semiconductor assembling and testing company reported a surprise second-quarter profit, helped by strong smartphone demand.

** MOSAIC CO, Monday close $26.63, -2.37 pct premarket

The U.S. fertilizer company reported a quarterly loss as phosphate and potash prices remained weak, but the company echoed larger rival Potash Corp of Saskatchewan in saying that the worst appeared to be over.

** COMSTOCK RESOURCES INC, Monday close $2.88, +3.47 pct premarket

The company said its operating cash flow was not enough to cover fixed debt at current commodity prices. It plans to fund capital expenses with asset sales or cash on hand.

** WILLIAM COMPANIES INC, Monday close $22.53, +5.64 pct premarket

The pipeline company said it plans to move forward as a standalone company and invest $1.7 billion in its master limited partnership, Williams Partners, in the wake of the breakup of its more than $20 bln takeover by Energy Transfer Equity LP.

** TENET HEALTHCARE CORP, Monday close $28.91, -1.87 pct premarket

The hospital operator missed second-quarter estimates, hurt by higher-than-expected costs to settle a federal patient referrals.

** ADVAXIS INC, Monday close $8.47, +25.50 pct premarket

The drugmaker agreed to have its drug ADXS-NEO developed and commercialized by Amgen Inc.

** GASLOG LTD, Monday close $12.96

The maritime services company offered 2.75 million units at $19.50, a 7.1 pct discount to its Monday close. The company said it intends to use the proceeds for general purposes, including expected future vessel acquisitions from its parent, GasLog Ltd .

** BIOSYSTEMS INC, Monday close $7.04

The diagnostic company reported bigger-than-expected Q2 loss, hurt by a 29 pct rise in costs and lower-than-expected revenue.
