U.S. stock index futures fell on Monday as investor returned to the market after a holiday-shortened trading week. S&P 500 futures were down 0.35 percent, the Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.4 percent, and the Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.12 percent.

** BEST BUY CO INC, Friday close $11.7, up 0.6 pct premarket
** EBAY INC, Friday close $49.01, up 0.5 pct premarket
Amazon.com was the most-visited retail website on Black Friday, followed by websites run by Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Though Amazon has dominated Cyber Monday in recent years, retailers such as eBay, Walmart and others are aiming to close the gap in this fastgrowing adjunct to the traditional holiday shopping season.
** ZHONGPIN INC, Friday close $10.86, up 15.6 pct premarket
The China-based meat processor said its board approved a proposal to be taken private by its Chief Executive Xianfu Zhu, who said in March that he would acquire the company at $13.50 per share.
** PEOPLE‘S UNITED FINANCIAL INC, Friday close $11.90, up 2 pct premarket
The financial services company announced a new share repurchase authorization of up to 33.6 mln shares on Monday.
** DREAMWORKS ANIMATION SKG INC, Friday close $18.05, down 3.6 pct premarket
Janney Capital Markets cut its fair value estimate on the stock to $22 from $24.50 and said the animation studio’s latest film “Rise of the Guardians” was one of the most disappointing releases in the company’s history. The film debuted with $32.6 million at the domestic box office.
** RESEARCH IN MOTION, Friday close $11.66, up 2.3 pct premarket
The BlackBerry maker’s U.S. listed shares played catch-up on Friday, surging more than 13 percent after the Thanksgiving holiday to match some of the gains the stock posted on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
** APPLE INC, Friday close $571.5, up 0.2 pct premarket
The iPod-maker has asked a federal court to add six more products to its patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung Electronics Co, including the Samsung Galaxy Note II, in the latest in move in an ongoing legal war between the two companies.
** RANDGOLD RESOURCES LTD, Friday close $107.39, down 1.9 pct premarket
The miner said on Friday that the latest conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo will be confined to the Eastern region and is unlikely to spread. Randgold is developing the Kibali project in Congo’s northeast.
** CHINA MING YANG WIND POWER GROUP LTD, Friday close $1.36, up 3.7 pct premarket
The wind turbine manufacturer said it signed a financing framework agreement for renewable energy projects with China Development Bank and India’s Reliance Power Ltd. Ming Yang has a memorandum of understanding with Reliance Power to co-develop up to 2,500 megawatt of renewable energy projects in India.
** SAREPTA THERAPEUTICS, $29.35 Friday close, up 3.13 pct premarket
The company entered into a collaboration with scientists and institutions from the European Union and the United States to develop its fourth drug to treat a rare degenerative disease that causes progressive muscle loss.
** DECKERS OUTDOOR CORP, Friday close $33.08, up 6 pct premarket
The UGG shoe maker has lost 56 percent of its stock value since the start of this year. This makes the company's valuation the cheapest compared to any U.S. footwear and accessories maker larger than $1 billion, and could interest private equity players and rivals in making an offer to buy the company, Bloomberg reported. The U.S. automaker said it is cutting a shift at a factory in Romania that makes its B-Max people mover and will offer buyouts to some hourly workers as auto demand in Europe falters.

Bernstein upgraded the stock to outperform from market perform.
** HEWLETT PACKARD CO, Friday close $12.44, down 0.7 pct
The world’s largest PC maker said in a letter on Friday that its products could have been delivered to Syria through resellers or distributors, but affirmed it did not sell directly to the country. The letter was a response to a request from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Global Security Risk asking if HP’s products were sold in countries where they would be subject to U.S. sanctions.
** YAHOO INC, Friday close $18.57 , up 2 pct premarket
Goldman Sachs added the company to its “Conviction Buy” list and raised its price target on the company’s stock to $24 from $22, according to Streetinsider.com.
** BAXTER INTERNATIONAL INC, Friday close $68.8
The healthcare company is in talks to buy Swedish medical-equipment maker Gambro for about $4 billion, according to a source familiar with the situation.
** UNITEDHEALTH GROUP, Friday close $53.92
