** MARKET OPENS DOWN ON 'FISCAL CLIFF' CAUTION
U.S. stocks opened slightly lower as worry over the threat to the economy posed by the "fiscal cliff" offset optimism from a deal to ease Greece's debt burden. The Dow Jones industrial average was down 0.25 percent, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 0.18 percent and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.14 percent.
** ACADIA PHARMACEUTICALS INC, $2.30, up 160 pct (0931 ET)
The biopharmaceutical company said its antipsychotic drug for Parkinson's disease patients succeeded in meeting the primary goal and key secondary goals of a pivotal late stage clinical trial.
