U.S. stock index futures were little changed on Monday, after the S&P 500 scored its best monthly performance in more than three years and ahead of data on the consumer and manufacturing sector. Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were up 0.12 percent at 18,149, S&P 500 e-mini futures were down 0.01 percent at 2,102.5 and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were up 0.14 percent at 4,448.75.

The hardwood flooring retailer sold flooring with higher levels of formaldehyde than permitted under California's health and safety standards, according to television news program "60 Minutes".

The drug developer signs agreement with Chugai Pharmaceutical Co Ltd to market its cell therapy for ischemic stroke in Japan.

** MAVENIR SYSTEMS INC, Friday close $14.57, +20.11 pct premarket

Canadian telecom services provider Mitel said it would buy mobile networking software maker Mavenir for $560 million in cash and stock.

** NXP SEMICONDUCTORS NV, Friday close $84.895, +12.23 pct premarket

** FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR LTD, Friday close $36.11, +8.53 pct premarket

Chipmaker NXP Semiconductors has agreed to buy smaller peer Freescale Semiconductor and merge operations in a deal valuing the combined company at over $40 billion.

** JINKOSOLAR HOLDING CO LTD, Friday close $21.89, -5.03 pct premarket

The chinese solar panel maker reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profit, hurt by higher costs and expenses. The company also forecast module shipments for the current quarter below fourth-quarter shipment as the company concentrated on building its higher-margin power plant building business.

** PACIRA PHARMACEUTICALS INC, Friday close $114.77, -14.18 pct premarket

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration rejected Pacira's application for expanding the use of its post-surgery pain drug, Exparel.

** 500.COM LTD, Friday close $9.23, -12.46 pct premarket

Chinese online lottery platform says remaining provincial sports lottery administration centers, to which 500.com provides sport lottery sales services, plan to suspend online sales. Company says financial results will likely be materially and adversely impacted during the suspension period.

** OPKO HEALTH INC, Friday close $14.56, -2.40 pct premarket

Drug developer reports bigger-than expected fourth quarter loss, hurt by higher costs.

** AMGEN INC, Friday close $157.72, +2.23 pct premarket

Drugmaker's Kyprolis helped patients with relapsed multiple myeloma live twice as long before their blood cancer worsened compared to a regimen containing rival drug Velcade, according to an interim analysis announced by the company on Sunday.

** BOSTON SCIENTIFIC CORP, Friday close $16.9, +1.18 pct premarket

** ENDO INTERNATIONAL PLC, Friday close $85.6, +1.65 pct premarket

Boston Scientific will acquire Endo Internationals' American Medical Systems urology portfolio for up to $1.65 billion. The deal value includes additional $50 million in milestone based on 2016 sales, Boston Scientific said on Monday.

** BLACKBERRY LTD, Friday close $10.81, +1.11 pct premarket

Mobile device maker said it plans to offer a cloud-based version of its device management platform BES12, a move that will make the service more accessible to small- and medium-sized businesses that need to secure devices on their own networks.

** ANHEUSER-BUSCH INBEV SA, Friday close $126.66, +0.76 pct premarket

J.P. Morgan Securities raises price target to $141.12 from $135 on the world's largest brewer's U.S.-listed shares. Improving dynamics in the United States, further synergies from Mexico, along with lower growth in costs despite still-significant investment will drive robust profit growth in 2015, analyst Komal Dhillon wrote in a note.

** QUALCOMM INC, Friday close $72.51

The maker of smartphone chips and software unveiled on Monday fourth-generation LTE modems that will enable cars to stay better-connected wirelessly to cloud-based services via the Web. Cars using the new technology should be on the market within a few years' time.

** PACWEST BANCORP, Friday close $45.835

** SQUARE 1 FINANCIAL INC, Friday close $27.68

Regional lender PacWest Bancorp said it agreed to buy Square 1 Financial in an all-stock deal valued at about $849 million. Square 1 stockholders will receive 0.5997 shares of PacWest common stock for each share held, the companies said on Monday. This equates to $27.49 per share based on PacWest's Friday close.
