** U.S.-listed shares of mid- and small-cap oil and gas producers, service providers and drillers down 3-8 pct

** At least six brokerages, including Barclays, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, cut PTs and/or ratings, citing further increase in production in an over supplied market

** "Additional Iranian production and expectations for increasingly defensive OPEC could provide further price caps through 2016," Barclays analysts write in a note

** Oil prices have fallen almost 60 pct since June 2014 on a global oversupply
