Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.49 percent at 17,386, S&P 500 futures were up 0.47 percent at 2,038 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.54 percent at 4,304.

The sportswear maker's quarterly revenue growth and its forecast for future orders missed analysts' estimates, underscoring its struggle to fend off competition from Adidas and others, especially in its home turf of North America.
