BUZZ-Polish companies: Shares in KGHM slump on possible impairment, China data
Jan 4 -
** Shares in Polish KGHM, Europe's second biggest copper producer, fell by over 6 percent at 0937 GMT on news it will need to run asset impairment tests, and data showing that factory activity in China continued to shrink in December.
** Last week KGHM said it saw the need to run impairment tests due to continued low commodities prices.
** Factory activity in China, world's largest metals consumer, shrank for a 10th straight month in December as surveys across Asia showed industry struggling with slack demand even as the policy cupboard is looking increasingly bare of fresh stimulus.
