TORONTO, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index was
little changed on Friday as disappointment following a
weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report was offset by gains in
gold miners after the price of bullion climbed.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was up 5.47 points, or 0.04 percent, at 12,599.43
shortly after the open.
