Canada Aug factory sales up 1.5 percent after energy plants reopen

(Reuters) - Canadian factory sales in August jumped by 1.5 percent from July, in part because production at petroleum and coal products plants returned to normal after shutdowns earlier in the year, Statistics Canada said on Tuesday.

Statscan said data from several petroleum refineries were under review and cautioned that the sales figures should be treated with caution.
