(Reuters) - Canadian factory sales rose by 1.7 percent in November from October, due mainly to higher sales in the transportation equipment, primary metal and chemical industries, according to Statistics Canada data on Friday.
Sales were up in 12 of 21 industries, representing about two-thirds of the manufacturing sector. In volume terms, sales increased 1.6 percent.
