Commuter train service in Toronto disrupted after person struck
TORONTO (Reuters) - A person was struck and killed by a GO Transit train on the east end of Toronto on Wednesday, disrupting two of the main commuter lines into the city during the morning rush hour.
GO Transit, which transports over 200,000 passengers every day across the Greater Toronto Area, said the fatality occurred west of Danforth GO station in Toronto, impacting service on the Lakeshore East and Stouffville lines.
