TORONTO (Reuters) - Authorities are investigating the deaths of five men whose bodies were found following a house fire in the western Canadian city of Calgary early Saturday morning, police said.
Calgary police said officers were called to a house in a suburban area at about 1:20 a.m., and five men were found dead inside after the fire was put out.
Police said the cause of the fire is still undetermined, and that it is investigating with the local fire department.
The incident was unrelated to a wildfire in the north of the province that has forced the evacuation of the Alberta oil town of Fort McMurray.
