OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Thursday that the government is always concerned with volatility in the currency, after the Canadian dollar rose to a three-month high.

"We're always concerned with volatility in the Canadian dollar, as you know that's a matter of monetary policy for the Bank of Canada to address," he said. "I'm sure that the governor is watching the dollar."
