STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Vehicles maker Volvo said on Monday it had inked a deal to deliver 141 hybrid buses to TransLink in Vancouver, Canada.
Volvo, the world's second biggest heavy-duty truck maker, said the agreement also included an option for an additional 110 buses. Hybrid buses run on a mix of electrical and diesel-generated power.
The financial details of the order were not disclosed. Deliveries were expected to begin in mid-2009, Volvo said.
