Liberals signal will back budget

1 Min Read

OTTAWA (Reuters) - A senior member of the Liberals indicated on Tuesday the party would back the minority Conservative government's budget, telling Reuters that "I don't there are any poison pills in there."

The government needs support from the Liberals to pass the budget. If the budget is defeated, the government will fall and an election will be triggered.
