Harper pledges more funds for health care

RICHMOND, British Columbia (Reuters) - Prime Minister Stephen Harper pledged funds on Thursday to tackle lung disease and neurological disease and said the government must protect the economy to carry out the initiatives.

Harper was speaking to supporters at a campaign stop in the Vancouver, British Columbia, suburb of Richmond ahead of the October 14 election.
