Flaherty says finance summit likely in New York

OTTAWA (Reuters) - The upcoming emergency summit on the financial crisis is likely to be held in New York, Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Tuesday.

“The big thing is the proposed meeting, which I gather will be in New York, of the international leaders,” Flaherty told CBC television. “It is expected that will happen before too long.”
