TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto police have launched a "large scale" murder investigation after finding as many as four dead bodies in a home on the east end of the city, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
"I can't say if it is two, three, or four bodies," Toronto Police spokesman Tony Vella said. "I can say this is a large scale investigation."
Police found the bodies in the home in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough after responding to a call about a suspicious incident, Vella said.
He said he could not give any further details.
A couple and their son who lived in the residence may be among the dead, the CBC television network said.
