TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's approach to combating the financial crisis is more sustainable than that of the United States, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Thursday.

Flaherty's remarks in an interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp came shortly after his minority Conservative government delivered a fiscal update that projected a balanced budget for this and the next five years.
