Provinces agree auto sector needs aid: Flaherty

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (Reuters) - Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Wednesday his provincial and territorial counterparts all agree that the domestic auto industry needs support.

Flaherty, speaking to reporters following a meeting with finance ministers of Canada's provinces and territories, also said a stimulus package would be designed to benefit long-term economic growth.
