GM Canada seeks C$6 bln-C$7 billion from governments
TORONTO (Reuters) - General Motors Corp is seeking between C$6 billion ($4.8 billion) and C$7 billion from Canadian governments as part of its restructuring plan, the country's industry minister said on Friday.
Canadian Industry Minister Tony Clement also said that Chrysler LLC has indicated it is seeking a short-term loan of C$1 billion.
