(Reuters) - World Color Press Inc, formerly Quebecor World, is likely to appoint Mark Angelson as chairman and chief executive officer on Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Jacques Mallette, World Color's current CEO, will leave the company to pursue outside interests, the paper said.
Angelson, former chief executive of U.S. printing company and spurned suitor R.R. Donnelley & Sons, was appointed as a chairman of the company's new nine-member board in June.
World Color Press was not available to comment.
Last week, the commercial printer's finance director Jeremy Roberts had left the company to assume a new role at George Weston Ltd and Loblaw Companies Ltd.
