Strong Canadian dollar reflects confidence: trade min

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Canada's strong dollar underscores the confidence in the country's economy, Trade Minister Stockwell Day said on Thursday.

"A strong (Canadian) dollar shows that people have confidence in our economy ... our economy is in good shape, we are attracting investment so the dollar is strong," Day told reporters on the sidelines of an APEC summit in Singapore.
