TSX edges higher on energy, financials

TORONTO (Reuters) - The TSX ended slightly higher on Tuesday as gains in the heavyweight energy and financial sectors were offset by weaker mining and technology shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 18.85 points, or 0.16 percent, at 12,048.57.
