Canada's Macklem: no G20 consensus on bank levy

BERLIN (Reuters) - There appears to be no consensus emerging on a bank levy or financial transaction tax ahead of the upcoming G20 summit, Canada's associate Deputy Finance Minister Tiff Macklem said on Thursday.

Macklem told a financial conference in Berlin that Canada remained skeptical about a bank levy.
