Canada cancels 2 Mexicana flights on creditor request
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Airline Mexicana de Aviacion said on Thursday that two Mexico-bound flights were canceled on request from a creditor to Canadian authorities who demands clarification over the company's financial situation.
Earlier on Thursday, representatives from pilot and flight attendants unions said that Mexicana, one of Mexico's two dominant airlines, was considering filing for creditor protection as one of three options to keep the company operating.
