Harper to seek Parliament dissolution Saturday

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Prime Minister Stephen Harper said on Friday he would meet with the country's governor general on Saturday to seek the dissolution of Parliament and kick off an election campaign.

Harper spoke after his minority Conservative government was defeated in a non-confidence vote presented by the main opposition Liberal Party.
