Canada expects "modest" growth in coming quarters

AJAX, Ontario (Reuters) - Canadian growth will be modest in the coming quarters and in 2012, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty predicted on Monday.

In a speech to a business group, he said domestic demand, which accounts for two-thirds of the economy, was still quite good.

The minister highlighted the Conservative government's commitment to balance the budget by 2014-15.
