LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Fantasia Barrino is "doing fine" after overdosing on aspirin and a sleeping aid, her father told

The former "American Idol" winner was rushed to the hospital Monday night, but her manager, Brian Dickens told Us Weekly magazine that "her injuries are not life threatening."

"Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon," the manager told Us Weekly.

He added: "Fantasia is a fighter and a survivor. This is not the hardest thing Fantasia has endured. Fantasia will be stronger, smarter, and better for it. Her work has always inspired her and served as a source of strength."

Celebrity news TV program Entertainment Tonight obtained audio of the 911 emergency services call prior to the singer's hospitalization. A man says, "An individual took a bottle of aspirin and she's slowly losing consciousness."
