TORONTO (Hollywood Reporter) - Toronto police have arrested a judge on a TV talent show for alleged forcible confinement and assault.

Simon Lee, who appeared on the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.'s version of the U.K. series "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?," was arrested Sunday after a young man jumped from the balcony of a downtown hotel onto a restaurant patio below following an apparent domestic dispute.

Lee, 46, was granted bail Monday and will reappear in a Toronto courtroom August 27.

The longtime conductor and musical supervisor for theater impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber missed the final two episodes of the talent show, in which contestants vied to play Maria von Trapp in an upcoming Toronto revival of "The Sound of Music."

Lloyd Webber, who created the original BBC show and helped judge both the U.K. and Canadian series, will co-produce the stage revival.
