LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Rosemarie DeWitt, who played the title character in "Rachel Getting Married," is slated to join "The Company Men," a drama about corporate downsizing that Chris Cooper also is in negotiations to board.

DeWitt will appear with Oscar winner Cooper ("Adaptation") opposite Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones and Kevin Costner. The film is written and being directed by John Wells, executive producer of "ER" and "The West Wing."

Wells' script revolves around a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing.

DeWitt will play Affleck's wife. Cooper is cast as a blue-collar worker losing his job.

DeWitt is one of the stars of Showtime's "United States of Tara" and also did a stint on "Mad Men."

Cooper appears in the anthology film "New York, I Love You," scheduled for September release.
