LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Illness has forced singer John Mayer to cancel his shows in Amsterdam, Madrid and Manchester, a statement on his website said on Wednesday.
The "Say" singer was due to play a concert in Amsterdam on Wednesday, followed later this week by another show in that city and performances in Madrid and Manchester.
But he is returning to the United States although no details of his illness were available. "A full recovery is expected under a doctor's supervision," his website said.
Mayer, 32, is the bluesy singer of songs such as "Waiting on the World to Change" and "Daughters".
