LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - MTV is revamping "Punk'd," and this time around, Justin Bieber will be hosting.

The 16-year-old singer has been all but officially tapped to host the revival, industry insiders told New York magazine's entertainment blog, Vulture.

Ashton Kutcher, who hosted the show when it premiered in 2003, will continue as an executive producer through his Katalyst Entertainment banner.

Once a deal has been worked out with Bieber, he will be the one leading the charge, though the "Baby" singer might find himself pulling a few pranks in early episodes.

Kutcher retired from "Punk'd" in 2007, Vulture reports, but sources at MTV said that the network was always looking to bring the franchise back.
