LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Jimmy Kimmel is still recovering after Charlie Sheen's surprise appearance on his late-night ABC talk show Monday night.

"We had a very very famous surprise walk-on guest tonight," Kimmel Tweeted. "My head is still spinning..."

Sheen popped by ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and gave the host a mug depicting a picture of a Fox. When Kimmel asked, "Why a fox?" Sheen replied, "I'll let you figure it out, man."

A Fox spokesperson confirms to THR that Sheen, who was recently fired from CBS' "Two and a Half Men," met with Fox's Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment; David Hill, president of Fox Sports; and Peter Rice, chairman of entertainment for Fox Networks Group last Thursday.

Sheen surprised Kimmel on his show during an interview with Mark Cuban, who appears on ABC's "Shark Tank" and owns the HDNet channel. Cuban has previously said he is talking to Sheen about a possible reality series for HDNet.

Kimmel asked Cuban about his talks with Sheen and as Cuban responded, Sheen popped onstage, waving, high-fiving and blowing kisses to the audience, who went wild with applause.

Sheen then kissed Kimmel on the lips, signed an album cover of that night's musical guest, Brett Dennen, and took a seat between Cuban and Kimmel. He brought out a bag of Sheen-branded T-shirts, which he handed out to the audience as well as to Cuban and Kimmel. Cuban's had a headshot of Sheen with the word "WINNING" underneath, while Kimmel's had a picture of a kitten above the words "I have tiger's blood in me."
