TV cult hit Red Dwarf returns for Easter special
LONDON (Reuters Life!) - Cult sci-fi comedy "Red Dwarf" is to return to TV screens for a special two-part series more than 20 years after it was first aired.
The show, which ran for eight series on the BBC from 1988 until 1999, will appear on digital channel Dave over the Easter weekend.
The new episodes, written by co-creator Doug Naylor and featuring all the original cast, will see Dave Lister, the last living human, and the hopeless crew of spaceship Red Dwarf returning to Earth.
There will also be a behind-the-scenes special and an "unplugged episode" with no sets, no effects and no cue cards.
The program, which started as a sketch show on Radio 4, attracted about eight million viewers at its peak and was broadcast in more than 25 countries.
