Germany confirms Lautenschlaeger for ECB board seat

BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany wants Bundesbank Vice President Sabine Lautenschlaeger to fill the seat on the European Central Bank's (ECB) executive board that is being vacated by Joerg Asmussen, a German government spokesman confirmed on Tuesday.
