(Reuters) - Canadian factory sales fell 0.9 percent in December, led by a sharp decline in the volatile aerospace industry, Statistics Canada said on Friday. This followed a downwardly revised 0.5 percent rise in November.
Sales of aerospace products and parts sank by 19.4 percent. Overall constant dollar sales, relevant for calculating real gross domestic product growth, decreased 1.9 percent, the biggest drop in a year, reflecting lower volumes.
