Canada second-quarter household debt-to-income ratio rises, still near record

(Reuters) - The ratio of Canadian household debt-to-income widened to 169.1 percent in the second quarter from an upwardly revised 168.3 percent in the first quarter, Statistics Canada said on Friday.

National net worth edged up by 1.7 percent in the second quarter to C$11.64 trillion ($8.96 trillion), while national net worth edged up to C$312,716 on a per capita basis.
