TSX opens higher as energy shares gain

(Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, helped by energy shares after oil prices rose more than 1 percent after tumbling in the previous session.

* At 9:30 a.m. ET (14:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 31.37 points, or 0.21 percent, at 15,006.9.
